A new Vanuatu citizenship category has been created by Government called the Development Support Program. DSP replaces the Vanuatu Economic Rehabilitation Program (VERP). This highly prestigious nationality and passport program offers visa free and visa-on-arrival travel to 113 countries INCLUDING all of the European Union and most of the rest of the world.
The strong point of the new DSP plan is in having the Citizenship Commission appoint Vila based designated agents who will check on the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) screening of the individual concerned and make recommendations to the Citizenship Commission.
Application Procedure
Fill and sign in triplicate the Declaration Form to the Marketing Agent
- The form can be downloaded from the website (click here), or emailed or provided to the applicant by the Agent.
- The Declaration Form has to be accompanied with one original of proof of funds from a recognized bank for US$200,000
Submit for due diligence and pre-clearance of Principal Applicant, Spouse and Children 12 years old and above:
- Clear Copy of Passport(s).
- Police clearance(s).
- Pay a non-refundable US$5000 pre-clearance fee via bank transfer.
The due-diligence and background check by the Vanuatu Authorities may take one week.
Once the applicant(s) is or are cleared by Government, the Principal Applicant shall
- Fill and sign the Citizenship Nomination Form which can be downloaded from Marketing Agent’s website (click here) or hard copies can be provided by our Agents.
- Pay the initial non-refundable 25% Citizenship Fee Via bank transfer.
- Post or handover all hard copies to our branch offices. Soft copies to be emailed first.
The Citizenship Commission may require one month to confirm its in principle acceptance of the application by issuing a letter to the Principal Applicant.
- Upon receipt of the acceptance letter, he has one week to:
- Pay the remaining 75% Citizenship Fee via Bank transfer, plus
- US$10,000 Processing Fee via bank transfer, plus
- US$160 per passport as a Printing Fee via bank transfer.
- Fill and sign the Passport Application Form which can be downloaded from our website (click here)or hard copies can be provided from our branch offices.
Passport issuance may take one month and Principal Applicant/new Citizen will be emailed or handed over from our branch offices copies of the Citizenship Certificate(s) and new Passport(s).
The oath of allegiance and the receipt of the passport(s) can be done before the Commissioner of Oath in Vanuatu or,
Commissioner of Oath may travel to the New Citizen(s) country or a suitable agreed location in which case the travel and accommodation charges must be paid by New Citizen(s).
